as members of the floral industry we are committed to utilizing sustainable and low-waste practices. here are some of the concrete steps we’ve taken to reduce waste, while still providing one-of-a-kind floral installations and designs for special moments.

mindful flower sourcing. we maintain strong relationships with local flower farmers in the Berkshires and Upstate NY, from whom we source our flowers whenever possible. this means the blooms we use are the freshest and most seasonal. for those special flowers that can’t be grown locally due to climate or season, we source from a local wholesale company that is also a flower farm. no matter what, you’re supporting a local small business!

composting. we work with Second Chance Composting who is local to us. this means all organic matter we produce before, during and after your event is collected by us, picked up by Second Chance, and composted at their facility to become future soil nutrients for local farmers and gardeners.

limiting single-use plastic. in every aspect of the business, we are looking to reduce our plastic consumption. our company has vowed to never use floral foam, and we believe that every little bit counts. whether it’s reusing rubber bands from bunches of flowers, washing out flower tubes for continued use, or re-purposing berry containers from the grocery store to protect your boutonnieres, we are doing it.

supporting like-minded companies. we use items like the Oshun Pouch and products from New Age Floral at every event. by supporting these innovators we hope to help make sustainable floral design accessible to all!
