avela floral design is a full service bespoke floral design company based in the berkshires, ma. we’re known for creating custom artful floral designs for our clients, ensuring their events are beautiful, memorable, and representative of who THEY are.

sustainability
our goal is to provide impeccable flowers with as little carbon footprint as possible. every element of our designs is thoughtfully sourced, processed, designed, and built with sustainable practices in mind.
we use local and seasonal flowers, post-event composting, limited single-use plastics, and no floral foam. we work with as many partners in the sustainable floristry movement as we can.

hi :) i’m amy. i’m inspired by the inherent beauty of all flowers and wild botanicals. i love being a member of the slow flower movement, making change in a notoriously unsustainable industry. i pride myself on my ability to interpret your vision and make it a reality.
my husband and i live in the berkshires and run our business together. avela means hazelnut in Portuguese, and is named for our daughter Hazel, our little Hazelnut. she inspires us to show her that life can be beautiful.
